Materials Required for Re-archiving

• SSURGO Version 2 NASIS download

• List of known errors in digital data that need to be fixed

• Accurate digital survey area boundary file if available

What we will do

• Generalize arcs if necessary to reduce file size

• Replace survey area boundary with digital file if available or straighten if necessary

• Check edge matching to adjacent digital surveys, edit if necessary

• Check new NASIS data, add mukey to spatial data

• Run a quick Soil Data Viewer test

• Update metadata file

Submit data by geographic areas if possible to make edge matching easier.
