NRI Imagery

NRI imagery should not be confused with the NAPP and NAIP imagery used to produce Missouri’s 1st and 2nd generation DOQQ’s and FSA compliance products. Neither meets NRI resolution preferences for collecting selected NRI data elements.

Aerial photography covering the Missouri's sample segements is flown in late May, June and July.

Additional coverage is sometimes acquired for Wetland Reserve Program (WRP) sites and other special applications. NRI utilizes high resolution, 9”x9” color film. Each photo is segment centered with GPS and acquired at a contact scale of 1:7,920 (1 inch = 660 feet) with a resolution of 0.15 meters.
