SeedRate3

Missouri SeedRate 3.0 is a personal computer application developed using Microsoft Access 2003.  This application is designed to assist field employees of the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service in Missouri, our partners and cooperators in developing vegetative seeding mixtures.  The standards which are used as the basis for this application are 327 – Conservation Cover, April, 2008; 342 – Critical Area Planting, September, 2007; and 512 – Pasture and Hayland Planting, April, 2008; and 723 - Vegetation Establishment, Herbaceous Seeding, April, 2008.  Copies of these standards are available from your local USDA Service Center and online at the Missouri eFOTG website.

The use of this application does not replace a working knowledge of these standards or the soil, water, air, plant, and animal resources where the vegetative seeding is to be established.

SeedRate3 is available to Missouri NRCS employees and partners in a USDA Service Center Office for installation on a CCE computer by contacting the USDA-ITS-TSD Point of Contact.  Others interested in obtaining a copy of this software should contact Dave Gruber.
