Federal Interagency UWA Action Team:

  • U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

  • USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service

Watershed Restoration Action Strategies (WRAS):

  • UWA provided the road map of priority areas to be addressed in 1999, 2000, etc. for high priority Category I watersheds

  • WRAS is a response plan to restore the health of waterbodies identified in the UWA

  • TMDLs may form the core of the WRAS if available

  • Local involvement in development and implementation is critical
