Training

Our vision for training NRCS and soil and water conservation district personnel ("Internal Training") is a highly skilled workforce providing customer oriented quality service. Training assistance also goes beyond the internal needs of NRCS and districts to our natural resource partners. Their needs may be met by utilizing training offered through NRCS. Training that is available to individuals not located within an NRCS office is referred to as "External Training".

Both Internal and External training involve the coordination and cooperation of many groups of people including the National Employee Development Center (NEDC), National Employee Development Staff (NEDS), Training Officers, Personnel, and most importantly, NRCS and soil and water conservation district (SWCD) employees.
