Requirements for most software installation:

  • IBM or compatible computer (8088 or above)
  • Hard disk (with at least 185K of storage space free)
  • DOS 2.0 or higher
  • 540K of memory
  • Some of the applications require graphics capability (CGA or better)

Optional items include:

  • 8087 or above math coprocessor
  • Graphics adapter and monitor (CGA or equivalent)
Used to view centerline profile, cross-sections, and a principal spillway cross-section plot.
  • Printer (highly recommended)
If graphics output is desired, you will need a printer capable of printing graphics (i.e., supported by GRAPHICS.COM).
NOTE: The Stadia Reduction program currently will not plot to a laser printer, a dot matrix printer is required.
  • GRAPHICS.COM (a program which normally comes with DOS), or a similar program to print graphic screen dumps to a printer.
